According to the World Health Organization (WHO), health promotion enables people to increase control over their own health. It covers a wide range of social and environmental interventions that are designed to benefit and protect individual people’s health and quality of life by addressing and preventing the root causes of ill health, not just focusing on treatment and cure.

AIMSCI Cell Med Press  publishes both text and reference books in the field of health promotion, especially on life-style health promotion. AIMSCI Cell Med Press emphasizes evidence-based health promotion and the essentialness of randomized controlled trials.

AIMSCI Cell Med Press health promotion books  are typically solicited from recognized experts in the field. Established professionals are also welcome to submit book proposals for consideration. We are particularly interested in publishing books on such topics as preventive cardiology, obesity prevention, and skin care.

AIMSCI Cell Med Press strongly recommends that books be written based on original research (especially randomized controlled trials) published in influential peer-reviewed  medical/health science journals, such as New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), Lancet, Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), British Medical Journal (BMJ), Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), and Circulation, to name a few.
